PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clamping device which prevents a container from being deformed by a simple constitution and can hold airtightness in a reactor used for a vacuum oven and a pressure oven. SOLUTION: In a container 1 provided with a container main body 2 with a shape of a hollow body, a lid body whose edge part is pivoted openably and closably on the edge part of the container main body and a clamping device 4 which hooks their both edge parts together and closes hermetically them, a lock shaft 42 pivoted rotatably on either one edge part of the container main body 2 side or the lid body side and provided with a cutout 43 in a specified angle region of the shaft n and a guide end 44 fixed on a position corresponding to the cutout 43 on another edge part of either of the container main body side 2 or the lid body side and when the lid body is closed on the container main body 2, the guide end 44 is guided by the cutout 43 and is hooked on the lock shaft 42 by rotating the lock shaft 42 and at a closing position X by rotating furthermore the lock shaft 42, the guide end 44 is brought into hermetic contact with the lock shaft 42 to be able to hold a hermetic condition.
