<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data input device which further improves the convenience of a recognition priority function that improves a character recognition rate by making it easy to identify an input mode by changing the background color or display pattern of a pen pad to display when a selected input mode is different from an input mode of default mode. SOLUTION: This device 1 stores respective different background colors or patterns which are preliminarily defined in accordance with icons that are for designating plural input modes in a pen pad storing part 9, and a CPU 2 discriminates a selected icon, sets an input mode and shows the background color or pattern corresponding to the set input mode on a pen pad. Thus, it is possible to identify the selected input mode from the difference of the background color or pattern.</p> |
