<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method for a headlamp that automatically irradiates in the direction of a turn regardless of the moving velocity of the vehicle. SOLUTION: Moving speed difference of the left and right positions of the vehicle body is detected with a sensor and calculated (step 101). Next, a headlamp irradiation angleθrequired for the headlamp to irradiate the entire side range in the direction of vehicle movement for an arbitrary amount of time is obtained by computation (step 104). Further, an irradiation angleθlamp is calculated in order to irradiate compensating for a range which is outside of the headlamp irradiation range of the vehicle when running straight (steps 106, 108). Then, the irradiation range is modified based on the irradiation angle that is obtained as mentioned above (step 112).</p> |
