PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a history information recorder cope with the uses of a wider range without being limited to the manufacture, sales and repair of products and to prevent the falsification of history information. SOLUTION: This history information recorder is provided in the product and is for storing product history information relating to the manufacture, distribution, sales, registration, repair and abandonment in a recording part 24 and transmitting the information corresponding to input signals from the outside. The history information recorder is provided with the plural transmission modes and is provided with a mode changeover part 26a for switching the modes based on the input signals. The mode changeover part 26a selects a first transmission mode at the time of normal use and switches the transmission mode to a second transmission mode in which at least one of output, a frequency, a modulation system and transmission time is different from the one of the first transmission mode based on the input signals. Also, a history information falsification prevention part for inhibiting the rewrite of the storage part 24 under a prescribed required condition and preventing the falsification of the product history information is provided. |
