PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corner material made of a metal wherein when a projected corner of an exterior wall using corrugated slate boards is tread, a bolted part thereof is not depressed so that the wall can be finely finished. SOLUTION: The corner material 10 made of a metal is made up of a shaped metal plate having an L-shaped cross section, bent at right angles, and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 12 provided inside the metal plate. The corner material 10 is attached to a projected corner 32 of an exterior wall 30 comprising corrugated slate boards 20 through reinforcing ribs 14 by means of hook bolts 18. Since the ribs 14 are interposed between the material 10 and the boards 20, even if the material 10 is firmly fixed to furring strips 40 by means of the bolts 18, the surface of the material 10 are not depressed so that the material 10 can be finely finished.
