PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suit for over coating particularly for the outside plate of automobiles in relation to a forming method of a multiple layer coating film excellent in smoothness, high chromatic feeling, high whiteness pearly feeling, color tone stability or the like. SOLUTION: A white based base coat A forming a coating film adjusted within the range of N7-N9.5 in a Munsell color chart by a titanium white pigment and a leafing aluminum flake, a base coat B formed by blending a light transmissible flake like pigment and a clear coat C are applied by wet-on-wet and heated to simultaneously crosslink and cure the coating films of A, B and C.
