PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the maintenance work of a communication device from being overlapped even when log in simultaneously takes place in maintenance work from plural management terminals by controlling simultaneous log in from the plural management terminals. SOLUTION: This communication device 1 is connected to any of management terminals 3, 10, 11 and 17 by means of each protocol. When a communication line or the session of a TCP/IP is connected, an initial image is shown to perform maintenance work of a connecting device. A maintenance personnel performs a key operation according to a procedure shown on a screen and inputs a password. IF the password is correct, whether or not another management terminal logs in is checked. If the other management terminal does not log in, a menu image for performing the maintenance work is shown on the management terminal and the maintenance work becomes possible. When the other management terminal already logs in, a message that logs in is not available is shown on the management terminal, the communication line or the session is disconnected and the communication is finished. |
