<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use the same parts as a repairing member for polyolefin tube, and to securely fuse for repair by forming the repairing material for plastic tube of a plastic cover member and a heater. SOLUTION: A repairing member 10 for plastic tube is arranged at a position for covering a damaged part 1a of a plastic tube 1, and one more repairing member 10 is arranged while changing its attitude symmetrically in relation to the former reinforcing member 10, and bonding lug pieces 12 of both the reinforcing members 10, 10 are overlapped with each other, and fastened by a bolt and nut 16. With this structure, the damaged part 1a of the plastic tube 1 is perfectly covered with two repairing members 10, 10. Continuously, when electricity is supplied from a connecting terminal 17 so as to heat a heater 14, plastic of a corresponding part is melted so that the periphery of the plastic tube 1 and the plastic cover materials 13, 13 are fused. The heater 14 of the repairing materials 10, 10 surrounds the whole periphery of the plastic tube 1 and while the bonding lug pieces 12 are bonded to each other by fusion, and leakage at a fused part of the damaged part 1a is thereby prevented.</p> |
