PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve conductivity and strength and to reduce friction and wear by providing a base material made of carbon and one or a plurality of conductive path bodies that are made of a metal, have a current conduction path that is continuous in at least one direction, and are provided in the base material. SOLUTION: When a surface s1 is used as the sliding surface with a pantograph, current securely flows through a conductive path body 11, thus reducing electrical resistance and improving conductivity. Also, a carbon material has small friction resistance on sliding, can easily slide on the surface of a trolley line, makes smooth the sliding surface of the trolley line, and does not wear the trolley line. Also, since the conductive path body 11 in a metal thin plate shape is laminated instead of the carbon single material, the wear of a sliding plate itself can be reduced. Also, a carbon fiber-reinforcing member 12 performs reinforcement and further the conductive path 11 made of metal also functions as a reinforcing material, thus achieving a sufficient strength against tensile stress, bending stress, shear stress, impact stress, and the like.
