PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for laying a tile carpet wherein an adhesive can be properly prevented from being attached to the surface of the tile carpet when the arrangement of wiring is changed to improve work efficiencies when the arrangement of wiring is changed. SOLUTION: A basic unit of tile carpets laid longitudinally and laterally is slightly larger than the width of a wiring passage 7 of a floor panel 2, that is, it has a width equal to the length of a nearly cross-shaped trench cover 10 in the direction of the passage 7. And the basic unit comprises a combination of a small width tile carpet 31 having a length two times the length of one side of the panel 2 and a large width tile carpet 32 which has a width larger than that of the carpet 31 and has a width such that the sum of the width of the carpet 32 and the width of the carpet 31 becomes equal to the length of one side of the panel 2 and which has a length two times the length of one side of the panel 2. And a rectangular basic unit is formed from the carpet 31 and the carpet 32, and the carpets 31 are arranged on the passages 7 along the direction of each floor panel 2 so as to be laid longitudinally and laterally.
