PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator's decelerating position detecting device that is compact in size, high in reliability and inexpensive in cost by making improvements in operability and workability in time of manufacturing and installation as compared with that in the past. SOLUTION: This elevator position detecting device consisting of three light projecting means ST1 to ST3 and light receiving means SR1 to SR3, and a shielding plate set up in response to an elevator decelerating position are installed, and a setup position of the shielding plate is constituted so as to make an output signal out of a position detector by binarizing the signal after passed through the shielding plate. In this case, in synchronization with the traveling position of an elevator, any emitted light ranging from the light projecting means ST1 to ST3 to the light receiving means SR1 to SR3 is intercepted, thereby generating the output signal showing the elevator traveling position. |
