<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form the X-ray image of a simple and non-computionally intensive object by expressing the object by X-ray format in response to attenuation when an X-ray beam having simulated font passes through the object. SOLUTION: A 3D model 12 having nested solids 14-18 is input to a system 10, and after digitalizing 20-24 the respective surfaces of the insides, the middles and the outsides mass attenuation is assigned 26-30 to the respective ones, shells 32-36 filled with uniform substance having mass attenuation characteristic are obtained, they are recorded 38 as nests to generate a shell form 40, and the surface forms are made related to each other. The surface forms are rendered by renderers 42-46 to make respective depth images 58-60 of the insides, the middles, and the outsides, a mass attenuation coefficient is respectively combined with them to perform attenuation image calculations 60-64, and the respective attenuation images shaded for showing density are obtained. Next the attenuation images are combined together at respective pixels, and a simulated X-ray image is formed.</p> |
