PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be lightweight, highly strong and to prevent deformation at the normal temp. and high temp. by inserting reinforcements which are formed of the material stronger than an aluminum material in the longitudinally through-recessed grooves provided on the surface of the body of a shape which is formed of the aluminum material and integrally fixing the shape and the reinforcements by brazing. SOLUTION: The longitudinally through-recessed groove 5 having an approximately U-shaped cross section are provided in the vicinity of both end parts of the outer side faces of the upper flanges 4a and lower flanges 4b of the body 4A of the shape. The reinforcements 10 are formed of round bar-shaped members made of the material stronger than the aluminum material, for example, stainless steel. A frame material 4 is formed by inserting the reinforcements 10 in the recessed groove 5 along the surface of the body 4A of the shape and integrally joining the reinforcements with the shape 4A by brazing. By this constitution, the lightweight property of the frame material 4 is maintained, strength is improved and the strength of a sandwich panel 1 provided with the frame materials 4 is improved and deformation is reduced. Because the surfaces of the flange parts 4a, 4b in which the reinforcements 10 are inserted and fixed are covered with surface plates 2 and protected joining the plates by brazing, corrosion resistance and appearance are improved.
