PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a machine for shaving a sea tangle capable of sufficiently extracting soup stock components of the sea tangle and a method for producing a shaved sea tangle. SOLUTION: This machine for shaving a sea tangle is equipped with a pair of feed rollers 12 and 14 mutually rotated in the opposite directions, a sea tangle guide device 16 installed on the downstream side of the feed rollers 12 and 14 and guiding the sea tangle fed from the feed rollers 12 and 14 and a pair of shaving rollers 18 and 20 provided on the downstream side of the sea tangle guide device 16 and mutually rotated in the opposite directions. One or plural blades 20a and 20b for shaving the sea tangle are attached to either one of the shaving rollers 18 and 20 and the ratio of the number of revolutions of the feed rollers 12 and 14 and the shaving roller 18 without attaching the blade to the number of revolutions of the shaving roller 20 having the attached blades 20a and 20b is 1: (50-250). |
