PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To include many information signals in one set unit and to efficiently transmit the information signals. SOLUTION: The transmitter is equipped with a compressing means 4 which compresses and outputs the information of inputted information signals in certain units and a synchronizing signal adding means 5, which gathers the output signal of the compressing means 4 by plural units and adds one synchronizing signal and transmits the output signal of the synchronizing signal adding means 5. The receiver, meanwhile is equipped with a synchronizing signal removing means 7 which receives one synchronizing signal and plural units of compressed information signals as one set unit and removes the synchronizing signal from the received signals and an expanding means 11, which expands the compressed video signal of the output signal of the synchronizing signal removing means 7 by units.
