PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deliver prizewinning balls one by one reliably and stop the prize ball paying operation of a prize ball dispenser not electrically but mechanically when prize balls fill an extra ball passage. SOLUTION: The prizewinning ball handling device for pachinko game machines comprises a turnable first ball stop member 39 having a ball receiving part 49 adapted to project into a prizewinning ball passage 37 where it receives a leading prizewinning ball, a second ball stop member 40 turnable integrally with or separately from the first ball stop member 39 and having a ball stopping part 53 adapted to project into the prizewinning ball passage 37 where it stops the succeeding prizewinning ball or balls from falling onto the ball receiving part 49 of the first ball stop member 39, a prizewinning ball detector 41, and a ball counter plate 42. An electrical drive source 38 works to turn the first and second ball stop members 39 and 40 integrally so that the ball receiving and stopping parts 49 and 53 alternately get into or out of the prizewinning ball passage 37, and the ball counter plate 42 swings to turn only the second ball stop member 40 so that the ball stopping part 53 projects into the prizewinning ball passage 37.
