REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM, RECORDING AND REPRODUCING DEVICE AND INPUT CONTROLLER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the remote control system that executes an additional function with simple operability without increasing operating keys of the input controller even when a function such as edit is added. SOLUTION: In the case of conducting dubbing edit by a remote controller 2, a camera/VTR changeover switch 11 of the remote controller 2 or a key operation section of a DVCR 3 is set to the VTR mode and after an edit-on/off switch 12 is switched on and a REC switch (SW2) 14 of the remote controller 2 marks a start position and a stop position of edit and decides the edit points. The REC switch (SW2) 14 is used for a switch in common that marks the start position and the stop position of edit when the camera/VTR changeover switch 11 is set to the VTR mode and the menu edit on/off switch 12 is syncro- edit ON.
