CONTINUOUS PRODUCTION OF STRIPED COLOR PATTERN SHEET AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely express striped color patterns free from trouble with an efficient continuous type by supplying colored coating materials of colors different from each other to the surface of a long belt-like base sheet continuously fed on a processing line while moving a plurality of coating material supplying means along a direction intersecting with the processing line. SOLUTION: The long belt-like base sheet 3 of a prescribed width wound around a feed roll 2 is fed successively to the processing line via intermediate rolls 4 with the continuous production apparatus 1 for the striped color pattern sheet material. The base coating material 6 of a single color is applied at an approximately uniform prescribed thickness by a stationary single nozzle 5 on the surface of the base sheet 3 and the applied base coating material layer is leveled off by a knife coater 7 in the processing line. The colored coating materials of the colors different from each other are applied by using nozzle devices on the surface of the leveled off base coating material layer to form the striped color patterns. The coating layers are subjected to an excited drying treatment by a vibrator 13 and a heating furnace 14 after the passage along a doctor roll 10. The sheet material is taken up on a roll 18 after cooling.
