PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing contrived to show sufficient sliding function by reducing a sticking phenomenon of sliding member between an upper structure and a lower structure. SOLUTION: A rubber bearing body 5 composed by laying a steel plate 3 and a rubber sheet 4 on the top of another is placed on a lower structure 1 of a bridge pier or an abutment or the like through a shoe base mortar 2. The top of the rubber bearing body 5 is provided with a lower sliding member 12 made of a metal plate 11 given with a pre-baking process of a fluororesin 10 of a Teflon resin or the like. The rubber bearing body 5 and the metal plate 11 are integrally formed by vulcanizing.
