PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating furnace structure for lengthening a lifetime of a graphite crucible to a long time. SOLUTION: The heating furnace 1 is divided into an upper cover 2 and a lower cover 3. A gas burner 5 is mounted at an upper outer peripheral side of the circular cover 2. A furnace body 3 provided at a lower portion of the furnace 1 has a heat insulating material 14 provided in a container-like frame 12. The material 14 is non-erosible to an aluminum ingot 27 of a molten metal. The material 14 is obtained by casting a mortar-like high alumina insulating material 14 having a high water content in the frame 12, drying the material 14 and solidifying it. A graphite layer of a graphite crucible 15 is embedded in the material 14 at an inside of the material 14.
