PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexible joint for a concrete structure capable of ensuring holding and fixation of the horizontal portion of a flexible joint mainbody in plane or line contact to improve in sealing property, easily doing assembling work and enhancing a degree of freedom in design and construction. SOLUTION: A flexible joint mainbody 14 is formed integrally with a sectionally semicircular expansion part 14a and a horizontal part 14b connected to both sides thereof, wherein a reinforcing canvas 12 is embedded. On the horizontal part 14b between the expansion end 14X and the horizontal end 14Y of the flexible joint mainbody 14, protrusions 13 are formed along the longitudinal direction of the flexible joint mainbody 14. In the inner walls of holding plates 5a, 5b, recesses 15 are formed to be fitted to the protrusions 13 formed on the horizontal part 14b.
