PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a beautifully printed metal plate easy to process in an especially large-scaled by laminating a metal foil to which printing processing is applied to at least the single surface of the metal plate through a self-adhesive layer. SOLUTION: A preliminarily printed metal foil is bonded to at least the single surface of a metal plate. As the metal plate, a steel plate or various alloy plates are used. As the metal foil, an aluminum foil or a titanium foil is used and typographic printing or offset printing is applied to this metal foil. As a self-adhesive agent, polyvinyl acetate or the like is used. By this constitution, a metal plate extremely beautiful in appearance and excellent in design properties can be produced while keeping the strength, durability, heat resistance and processability possessed by a metal and a large-scaled metal plate having high design properties is produced and cost can be reduced.
