PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystal function element which has superior temperature characteristics and frequency characteristics, can be made small-sized, and moreover has advantages such as easy designing. SOLUTION: Electrode parts 12 and 13 for excitation are formed on both surfaces of respective regions of a crystal substrate 11, the regions sandwiched between those electrode parts 12 and 13 are regarded as excitation parts 31, and axis inversion parts 32 having electric axes in the opposite directions from the electric axes of those excitation parts 31, 31, etc., are formed in the crystal substrate 11 while surrounding the excitation parts 31, 31, etc., respectively.
