PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a fluororubber composition capable of forming vulcanized rubber having excellent resistance to permanent compression set by including a vulcanization supplement accelerator comprising calcium hydroxide having a specific properties. SOLUTION: This fluororubber composition contains (A) raw fluororubber, (B) a polyol-based vulcanizing agent, (C) an organic accelerator, (D) a vulcanization supplement accelerator comprising calcium hydroxide having <=7.5μm average particle diameter and >=20 m2/g specific surface area and (E) an acid acceptor. Calcium hydroxide of the ingredient D is pref. treated with an ester of >=16C higher fatty acid with >=16C higher alcohol or pentaerythritol or sorbitan, fluorosilicone oil, an aromatic polyether. The content of the ingredient D is pref. 3-12 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. ingredient A, which leads to increase in vulcanization reaction, crosslinking density and resistance to permanent compression set.
