PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cross-coil type indicating instrument in which a difference in magnetic force between respective magnetic forces generated in a disk-shaped magnet based on respective electromagnetic forces of two cross coils and a zero-resetting magnetic force are canceled out by each other, by devising in a constitution for generating the zero-resetting magnetic force. SOLUTION: A magnetic shield casing 20 is equipped with a deformed part 22 at a part of an outer circumferential wall 21, and the deformed part 22 is formed to have a U-shaped cross-section and to project inward from the part of the outer circumferential wall 21 of the magnetic shield casing 20. The deformed part 22 is projectingly formed so as to generate a zero-resetting magnetic force of an opposite phase to an electromagnetic force of the cross coil 50, in the space between a magnet 80 against an outer circumferential wall of a magnet 80 oriented to a hollow part of a cross coil 50 along its axial direction.
