PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new molten aluminum heating device for obtaining high heat exchange efficiency while suppressing the running cost by applying gas as a heat source and adopting an arrangement structure for immersing an immersion pipe normally in warm water at the lower part of a storage tank. SOLUTION: A molten aluminum heating device 1 comprises an immersion pipe 3 installed in normally immersed state at the lower part of a storage tank 2, and a heat source of the immersion pipe 3 being combustion gas of a gas burner 31 inserted in the inside of the immersion pipe 3 from an outside end part of the immersion pipe 3, and the immersion pipe 3 is provided with a touch sensor 41, and a leak detection device 4 such as a smoke detection device 43 provided in an exhaust pipe 33. The gas burner 31 having been inserted in the inside of the immersion pipe 3 is taken out from a sleeve pipe 34 of the immersion pipe 3.
