PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impression adjustment device for a printer which is capable of easily adjusting an impression in a short time and thereby reducing the number of parts to save on a manufacturing cost and further minimizing the disorderly behavior of the printer when it is moved and its operating variations due to vibration during its use to the allowable extent. SOLUTION: This highlight of this impression adjustment device for a printer is to use an eccentric guide shaft 16 as a guide shaft serving as a guide member when the printer 4 is moved in the transfer direction of a label 7 and any other printing medium. The device is structured of the eccentric guide shaft 16 borne by a shaft holder 15 fixed to a device base 13, a sliding block 17 which is slidable on the eccentric guide shaft 16 and a sliding shaft 18 for the printer 4 extending in a direction which traverses an impression face 8, fitted to a sliding block 17 in a freely slidable manner. In addition, a printing mechanism 9 is firmly set on the sliding shaft 18 for the printer 4 and the eccentric guide shaft 16 is eccentrically borne on the shaft holder 15.
