PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diminish the generation of a rainbow-colored reflection color of a display device formed from a flat-type cathode-ray tube by forming a hard coat layer on the viewer side surface of a base material film, forming a reflection preventive layer on the hard coat layer, and setting the difference between the refraction index of the base material film and the refraction index of the hard coat layer less than a specific value. SOLUTION: As a base material film 1, for instance, an acrylic resin film, a triacetyl cellulose film or the like is used and its total light ray transmittance is adjusted to around 30-70%. In addition, on the viewer side surface of the base film 1, a hard coat layer 2 is formed, and the hard coat layer 2 is formed, for instance, by applying a normal hardenable compound to the surface of the base film 1 and thereafter hardening it. Additionally, a reflection preventive layer 3 is formed on the hard coat layer 2 and the reflection preventive layer 3 prevents the reflection of visible light on the surfaces of the base film 1 and the hard coat layer 2. Then, the difference between the refraction index n1 of the base film 1 and the refraction index n2 of the hard coat layer 2 is set equal to or less than 0.5.
