PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a CRT filter adhesion method which prevents yellowing of a sealant which are an adhesive adhered on a filter to a CRT and ultraviolet ray setting resin according to a change with the passage of time. SOLUTION: This method comprises a step A of applying a prescribed thickness of a ultraviolet ray setting sealant 30 to a circumferential edge 1 of a face 12 of a CRT 10, a step B of applying a prescribed thickness of a new sealant 32 to the cured sealant 30 and irradiating the sealant 32 with ultraviolet rays to cure it, a step C of forming a wall part 40 which encloses the face 12 with the sealant 30, 32 and applying a specified thickness of a new sealant 34 on the sealant 32, a step D of bringing a plane 21 of a filter 20 into pressure contact with the applied sealant 34 from above and cure the sealant 34 by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays L, and a steep of pouring an ultraviolet ray curing liquidous resin 50 into a space formed by the face 12, a surface 22 of the filter 20 and the wall part 40 and curing the resin 50 by irradiating it with ultraviolet rays L.
