摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a single layer thin film bias coil structure, which is produced simply, by providing an optical element that has a thin extended optical aperture on the slider main body flexibly floating over a medium which its optical path is made pass through it. SOLUTION: A slider main body 20 regulates a bearing surface 34 and includes two longitudinal rails 32 having slightly tilted regions 36 at the front ends. The optical gate or a mesa 50 of a flying optical lens element passes through the opening section located at the center portion of a recessed region 40 of the body 20 and is extended. A magnetic bias coil 52 includes at least one layer thin film electrically conductive metal-stacked material, is formed by patterning, and made into an approximate spiral continuous trace to surround the mesa 50. The coil 52 is connected to an external driver circuit at the back edge of the body 20. A magnetic pole-formed sheet layer 60 is mounted on the region 40 of the body 20 by directly stacking and occupies most of the space regulated by the region 40.
