STABLE W/O/W EMULSION, AND ITS USE AS COSMETICS AND/OR DERMATOLOGIC COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a water/oil/water(W/O/W) triple emulsion by adding a cross-linked organopolysiloxane elastomer having polyoxymethylene chain and polyoxypropylene chain without adding other stabilizing agent. SOLUTION: This emulsion includes the cross-linked organopolysiloxane elastomer including the polyoxyethylene chain and/or polyoxypropylene chain, added to the W/O/W emulsion including an aqueous outer phase and the first W/O emulsion including an oil phase and an aqueous inner phase and the organopolysiloxane elastomer is preferably added to the oil phase of the above- mentioned emulsion. The above-mentioned polyorganosiloxane is obtained by addition polymerization of an organopolysiloxane and polyoxyalkylene. The above-mentioned polyorganosiloxane is preferably added to the emulsion in an amount of 0.1 to 10% based on the total weight.
