PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the method for permitting many changes in an image forming condition, including pixel resolution, noise and an attitude change by using calculated attitude parameters so as to project a model onto a given scanning image, thereby verifying an image of the model. SOLUTION: This system 100 for recognizing a job separator page on a scanner 111 is provided with a detection controller module 101, that receives a scanned input from the scanner 111 and gives a control input to a job separator page verification module 102. The detection controller module 101 accesses a memory module 103, that stores models that are used for comparison with the scanned input. When a model is projected on the scanned input, the verification module 102 verifies matching and the presence of the job separator page. This information is used by a printer 112 for processing a job later, based on job parameters.
