PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely transit a card to a data accessible state through a card device while executing data processing on the side of a data processor smoothly even if the card device is loaded/unloaded to/from the data processor. SOLUTION: A card controller 27 and a CPU 27 monitor the loading and unloading of a card device 29 to/from the data processor, and intermittently different processing is sequentially carried out in small time intervals at the time of detecting the loading of a card to transit the card to an accessible decision state. Power supply to the device 29 from the main body of the data processor is interrupted at the time of detecting the unloading of the card.
