<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas-insulated switchgear which enables the suppression of a stress applied to a vessel and the reduction of a cost while the thickness of the whole vessel is not increased. SOLUTION: A gas-insulated switchgear is composed of a vessel which consists of a main pipe 41 which has an approximately elliptical cross-section and a predetermined thickness and has a flange connected to its end part and a branch pipe 43 branched from the main pipe 41 in its short diameter direction, insulating gas sealed in the vessel with a predetermined pressure and an electric apparatus placed in the insulating gas. A plurality of protrusions 44 which protrude outwards with predetermined thicknesses are formed at least on the outer circumference of the main pipe 41.</p> |
