PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an epoxidized block copolymer scarcely causing the discoloration of a resin due to the corrosion of a material when producing the epoxidized block copolymer with a vented extruder made of a nitrided steel. SOLUTION: When an organic solvent is removed from a mixture comprising the organic solvent and an epoxidized block copolymer which is a reactional product and containing an acid with a vented extruder made of a nitrided steel to provide the epoxidized block copolymer, the sum total of the concentrations of the acid and water in the mixture fed to the vented extruder is <=2.00 wt.% when the amount of the mixture is 100 wt.%.
