PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new compound, that consists of a specific sultopride derivative having excellent specificity and useful for obtaining a useful reagent for immunologically determining sultopride in a biological sample such as serum or urine in a simple, speedily and accurately. SOLUTION: A compound expressed by formula I (L is a bonding group; X is a residue of an enzyme or a residue of a support material) is obtained by bonding a compound of formula II (R is a group capable of bonding to a support material or an enzyme directly or with a bonding agent) or its salt to a support material or an enzyme. For example, when X is a residue of a support material, the compound of formula I is obtained by converting the carboxyl group contained in the substituting group R in formula II into an active ester and condensing the obtained active ester with the amino group of the support material. A polyclonal antibody is obtained by immunizing an animal other than human using a compound of formula I whose X is a residue of a support material as an antigen. A reagent for determining sultopride is obtained from the obtained antibody and the compound of formula I whose X is a residue of a support material.
