PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a toner carrying path short and to prevent a decrease in the lifespan of a cleaning blade. SOLUTION: In the toner recovery device, the cleaning blade 12 of a cleaner is disposed on a photoreceptor drum 2, and a toner recovery hopper 6, disposed on a developing device 8, is provided for storing residual toner removed from the peripheral surface of the photoreceptor drum by the cleaning blade. The toner recovery hopper has a bottom wall 61 forming a toner collecting part 611 having a toner falling port 613 connected to the development housing 80 of the developing device. The bottom wall is so formed as to slope down toward the toner collecting part, thereby guiding the residual toner, removed by the cleaning blade, to the toner collecting part. |
