PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte capable of obtaining an element and a battery having excellent photoelectric conversion characteristics and excellent durability by including at least one kind of compound to be selected in two kinds of compound having a specified structure. SOLUTION: This electrolyte contains one or more kinds of compound expressed with formula I and formula II as a solvent. As a solvent, a compound having a high boiling point and expressed with formula III and formula IV is used. Desirably, a photoelectric transferring element includes the electrolyte and a semiconductor, and a particulate semi-conductor sensitized by the pigment is used, and this photoelectric conversion element is used for photo-regenerative electrochemical battery using these semiconductor. In the formula, R1, R2 means alkyl group, alkenyl group, aryl group; R3 means cyano group, alkoxycarbonyl group, hydroxy group; R4 means heterocyclic group, alkyl group having a heterocyclic group; E means single bond, alkylene group, allylene group; (a), (b), (c) means 0.1; D means -O-, -OC(O)-, -OC(O)O-. |
