<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dispersion of the charged electric quantity originating from temp. dispersion in the battery, shortage of the charged electric quantity resulting from low-temp. charging of the battery, and deterioration of the battery at high-temp. charging by sensing the atmospheric temp. and performing fan control in accordance with the obtained atmospheric temp. SOLUTION: Batteries 10-1, 10-2, thru 10-n installed in a battery pack 10 are furnished with battery temp. sensors 12-1, 12-2 thru 12-n, and an atmospheric temp. sensor 14 is installed for sensing the air temp. around the place where the battery pack 10 is located. The sensing values given by these sensors are fed to a cooling fan control part 16 so that control of a cooling fan is made in accordance with the battery temp. and atmospheric temp., and it is possible to prevent the battery from being cooled more than necessitated in the low temp. operation.</p> |
