PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the digital camera device where control of a nonvolatile memory is converted into control using a conventional port, control using an exclusive hardware controller circuit is introduced and the hardware controller is placed on a data bus of a signal processing section. SOLUTION: A memory controller 105 that applies write control to a nonvolatile memory 211 is integrated on a data bus 108 of a microcomputer integrated circuit 101 that conducts information compression processing and accesses directly the nonvolatile memory 211 not via a conventional port from the data bus 108 to attain quick memory access.
