PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide network facsimile equipment capable of preventing transmission history and transmission image information from being utilized by others. SOLUTION: While a password for the transmission history is inputted at transmitting of image information and the password for the transmission history is registered in history information, when the user of a work station device WSn requests the reference of the transmission history, the password for the transmission history is inputted and only the history information, to which the same password for the transmission history is inputted is taken out from this network facsimile equipment FX. Thus, the user can only view the history information relating to his/her transmission operation and is unable to view the history information related to the transmission operation of the other user, and thus the effect of keeping the confidentiality of communication is obtained.
