PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel column mounting hardware, a steel column mounting structure and a steel column building method capable of firmly joining a foundation to clumns with a well-workable manner. SOLUTION: A steel column mounting hardware 20 is embedded and fixed into a foundation including ground beams provided in cutting grooves. The hardware 20 is formed with a boxed hollow member 22 with the bottom blocked and the upper part open so as to insert the lower end of a steel column 32 through its upper opening into the hollow member 22. If a concrete foundation is constructed around the hardware 20, a worker can walk on a constructed foundation area and a heavy machine can also approach to the foundation, resulting in satisfactory workability.
