The system uses a laser (2) which is applied to the tissues (T) surrounding the wound (P) to hold the edges together, and a support (4) made in the form of a supple adhesive strip incorporating one or more substances to promote cicatrization and/or having an antiseptic effect with at least one zone designed to be positioned over the wound and sufficiently transparent to allow the laser beam to pass through it and weld the tissues. The beam can be transmitted through an optical fiber guide (3).
