PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control freely the hue, tone and color transparency with respect to the light scattering on the irradiated surface of a dispersed liquid crystal shutter by variably and correlatively controlling the light irradiation and the diffusing liquid crystal shutter. SOLUTION: A correlation with a light irradiation part housing 2 wherein a filter 5 having three color wave lengths such as red, blue and green is installed in a turret-like form in a white light source 8 and a synchronous rotation position sensor 7 is so installed in a turret 6 as to be rotated is so performed by a synchronous control part 3 to control the opening-closing and transmittance of a dispersed liquid crystal shutter 1 so as to provide a desired illumination color when a light ray correlated with the rotation position sensor 7 is irradiated that an illumination color can freely be provided. For instance, if the liquid crystal is closed synchronously only with the red light irradiation, the liquid crystal surface scatters red light while blue and green light rays are passed, so that red scattered light is left. In addition, the tone of the light, scattering color and arbitrary color light scattering including transparency can freely be provided by controlling the closing time of the dispersed liquid crystal shutter 1 and the control voltage of the scattering liquid crystal. |
