<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote display device for seismic observation and a seismic observation system, low in system cost and enabling maintenance, inspection work, and the like, of a seismometer to be easily performed. SOLUTION: Predetermined data outputted from a seismometer 2 are inputted into a remote display device 1 for seismic observation via lines of telecommunication and the device displays the predetermined data on a display part 32. This device is equipped with an operation-command input part capable of inputting a command for the seismometer to perform a predetermined operation, an operation-signal generating means, for example, a CPU 31a, for generating and outputting an operation signal for causing the seismometer to perform the predetermined operation on the basis of an operation command signal from the operation-command input part, and a communication part, for example, a seismometer-communication port 34, for transmitting the operation signal to the seismometer and receiving the predetermined data from the seismometer.</p> |
