PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a selective remover of sebum capable of selectively removing sebum without removing cosmetics even in making-up time by making the remover include a hydrophilic surfactants and ethanol, and spraying to the skin. SOLUTION: This remover includes (A) the hydrophilic surfactants and/or (B) ethanol. A nonionic surfactant (e.g.; polyoxyethylene caster oil or the like), an anionic surfactant (e.g.; sodium lauroyl sarcosinate or the like) are usable as the component (A), and especially, the surfactant having contact angles <=60 deg. observed by dropping 1.2μl of 0.5 wt.% aqueous solution to a polyuretahane artificial leather is preferable. The composition preferably contains 0.001 to 5% of component (A) and 0.01 to 20% of the component (B). The above-described component is sprayed to the skin as a mist having average particle size 30 to 200μm, and 0.05 to 0.45 ml is used for spraying to the face.
