PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform voltage regulation with less regulating power, by dividing the first-side magnetic path into two parts, winding the first coils around the respective divided magnetic paths, applying the basic voltage with one first coil, and applying the adjusting voltage by another first coil. Thus, the voltage can be adjusted with less adjusting power. SOLUTION: The first-side magnetic path is divided into two paths. The first coil 1 and the first coil 2 are wound around the respective divided magnetic paths. A secondary coil 3 is wound around the second-side magnetic path. The initial winding side of the first coil 1 is connected to one side of an input terminal 6, and the finishing side of the coil winding is connected to the second side of an input terminal 6. Furthermore, the first coil 1 is made to be the tap winding. Respective taps are connected to (a), (b) and (c) of a tap changing switch 4. For the primary coil 2, the initial winding side of the coil is connected to (d) of the tap changing switch 4, and the ending side of the coil winding is connected to the side 2 of the input terminal 6. A secondary coil is connected to an output terminal 3.
