Hollow or solid polyhedral bodies or two- and three- dimensional structures can be formed from these pieces, there being means for connection between the lateral faces thereof, using adhesives or with the aid of coupling pieces 10, or retaining guides to enable them to be dismantled. The system includes a combination of the following parts: basic parts 1, 5, in the shape of a pyramid 1, or truncated pyramid 5, and a polygonal base with any number of sides, auxiliary pieces 4 of the prism type and with a base corresponding with that of the pyramidal parts 1, 5, templates 8, 17 such as auxiliary pyramidal parts with rectangular bases and a small angle between their major faces, optional pieces 7, 18 such as pyramids with triangular, pentagonal, heptagonal, etc., bases to accept the basic parts 1, 5 on their sides.
