The invention relates to a lock 3 that can be used for locking a bicycle or the like, having a first body part 8, which can fixed to one leg 1 of the wheel fork, and into which a first cylindrical lock part 5 has been fitted, through openings 13, 14 in which a cylindrical locking arm 4 can move in the longitudinal direction of the arm. Fitted to the second leg 2 of the wheel fork is a second body part 9, in which there is a second cylindrical lock part 6, in which there is an opening 15 for receiving the end 18 of the locking arm in the locking position. In the second lock part 6 there is a lock cylinder 20 and a bolt 21, which is connected thereto and which locks the locking arm 4 or releases it from its locked position. In the locking arm 4, at the end situated on the first body part, there is a section 11 of narrower diameter, which by way of an inclined shoulder 12, connects with the thicker section 10 of the locking arm. Inside the first lock part 5 is a snap arrangement 25, 26 guided by the narrower section 11 of the locking arm, by the inclined shoulder 12 and by the thicker section 10, and which prevents the locking arm 4 from pivoting away from a neutral position, which corresponds largely to the direction of the fork. <IMAGE> |
