Orthogonal tie-rod designed in order to form dismantlable, strong and very rigid orthogonal connections and composed of a flat-head bulk (designed for the use of a hexagonal spanner (wrench)) and a cylindrical nut with at least one interior screw thread located orthogonally in the centre of its axis. A small groove in the outer part of the nut serves for centring it at the time of assembly. The dimensions A B C are related to one another according to the principal measurement A which is equal to the thickness of at least one of the elements to be connected. The existence of other variants of the orthogonal tie-rod is reduced to different dimensions A B C thereof and to the design of the head of the bulk D. Applicable for obtaining a dismantlable, strong and very rigid orthogonal connection with numerous possibilities and variations for its use in carpentry and DIY, both industrially and domestically. <IMAGE>
